We source oilseeds from growers and accumulators in Australia to crush and create products, including crude degummed oil, refined bleached oils and Canola meal, a by-product of oilseed crush which is used for animal feed.
**About the role**
We’re seeking a qualified and experienced Quality Assurance Technician to join our laboratory at Numurkah on a 6-month fixed-term contract. The team provides a range of analytical, microbiological and operational quality services.
Day-to-day, you’ll evaluate and determine the suitability of product to be released whilst providing exceptional service and ensuring that all external/internal customer requirements are met. You’ll also provide technical support and advice to various teams including manufacturing and refinery; manage quality control production records; investigate non-conforming product and maintain analytical and microbiological equipment.
**About your experience**
- Degree in science, food science / technology, chemistry OR vocational qualification in laboratory techniques
- Experience gained in a laboratory setting such as food manufacturing, petrochemical or pharmaceutical industries
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and with mínimal supervision
- Willingness and flexibility to work on a rotating roster Mon-Sun.
