About the Role
We are seeking a reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic Casual Chipper Machine Operator / Labourer to assist with daily arboricultural operations. This role involves working as part of a team undertaking tree maintenance, removals, and site clean-up, with a strong focus on safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate and feed a wood chipper safely and efficiently
* Assist with general arborist tasks
* Maintain a clean and organised worksite
* Handle equipment as directed
* Support ground crew with site operations
* Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
* Perform basic maintenance checks on tools and equipment
Requirements
* Reliable, punctual, and strong work ethic
* Physically fit and able to perform demanding outdoor work
* Positive attitude and willingness to learn
* Strong awareness of safety practices
* White Card (Construction Induction) – required
* Driver’s licence (MR licence preferred)
Desirable (but not essential)
* Experience in arboriculture, landscaping, or manual labour
* Experience operating wood chippers or similar machinery
* Chainsaw ticket
* Traffic management ticket
* First Aid certification
