Learning Support Director
The Learning Support Director is responsible for overseeing a team of Educators and ensuring the inclusion of students with disability and additional learning needs.
This role offers a unique opportunity for an experienced Educator in Learning Support to lead by example and make a significant impact on student outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the Learning Support team and provide guidance and support as needed.
* Develop and implement strategies to promote inclusive education practices.
* Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to ensure students receive the support they need.
* Maintain confidentiality and adhere to legislative requirements regarding student privacy and disability laws.
Requirements:
* Relevant teaching qualification, as well as postgraduate qualifications in Special Educational Needs.
* Current Teachers Registration.
* Current Working with Children Check and valid Criminal Check.
* A willingness to promote and support Catholic values as a member of the college community.
Desirable Skills:
* Leadership and organisational skills, coupled with previous experience in a leadership position.
* Excellent written and spoken communication and interpersonal skills.
* A positive, compassionate nature with a strong commitment to supporting students with disability and/or learning difficulties.
