About the role
This is a full-time Transport Scheduling Coordinator role with Explore Industries Australia Pty Ltd based in Yatala, Queensland.
As the Transport Scheduling Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of swimming pools for Explore Industries' customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to build your career in the dynamic manufacturing, transport and logistics industry.
What you\'ll be doing
* Preparing and managing daily delivery schedules and routes to meet customer requirements
* Monitoring vehicle movements and delivery progress to identify and resolve any delays or issues
* Communicating regularly with drivers, customers and other stakeholders to provide updates and resolve queries
* Maintaining detailed records of deliveries, timesheets and other operational data
* Supporting the Transport Manager in optimising fleet utilisation and improving overall operational efficiency
* Assisting with the development and implementation of new processes and systems to enhance scheduling and logistics capabilities
What we\'re looking for
* Demonstrated experience in a transport scheduling or logistics coordination role, ideally within the road transport industry
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to effectively manage scheduling challenges
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities to liaise with drivers, customers and other team members
* Proficient in using scheduling and fleet management software, as well as MS Office applications with intermediate Excel skills including pivot tables
* A keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain accurate records and data
* A flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
* Australian work authorisation is required for this position
