Infrastructure Modernisation Consultant – Contract

About the role: We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join our high‐performance Professional Services team. This is a customer‐facing consulting position that requires exceptional collaborative skills and the ability to build strong partnerships with customers and within Datacom. The role involves consulting, design, configuration, testing and deployment of IT infrastructure.
What You'll Do
* Work closely with Customers, Partners, Sales and Technical teams.
* Ensure assigned IT infrastructure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to agreed scope.
* Serve as the technical point of contact for implementation services and solutions (remote or on‐site).
* Provide pre‐sales support and expertise to the sales team.
What You'll Bring
* Experience delivering projects in professional services environments with external enterprise customers.
* Design, implementation and optimization of Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange.
* Virtualisation expertise (VMWare, Hyper‐V, AHV).
* Excellent communication skills and ability to engage technical and non‐technical stakeholders.
* Independent and collaborative working style.
* Australian citizenship and NV1 security clearance.
Desired Experience
* Backup and recovery solutions (Commvault, Veeam).
* Hyperconverged technologies (Nutanix, Dell, Cisco).
