Acoustic Engineers (Graduates and Junior Engineers)
We're looking for early-career engineers with a genuine interest in acoustics to join our growing Adelaide team.
You will:
Immediately commence project work on real-world acoustic problems
Undertake site visits, where you will conduct noise measurements, set up equipment or perform data analysis
Undertake environmental noise modelling and some building acoustic assessments
Prepare technical reports and compliance documentation
Be mentored directly by experienced senior engineers and you will gradually develop your own project responsibility
Liaise with clients, architects, planners and other consultants
ABOUT YOU
A Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent acoustic qualifications
Newly graduated or junior professional engineering experience which ideally includes experience with acoustic modelling software and noise monitoring equipment
Demonstrated interest and/or experience in acoustics with preference for candidates who have undertaken studies in acoustics, vibration, noise control or related subjects
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Clear written communication skills (technical report writing essential)
Willingness to undertake regular field work and site-based measurements both intra and interstate, noting that TOIL (time of in lieu of overtime) applies in specified circumstances
As your experience develops, you will progressively take on increased responsibility for project components and client interaction
