We are searching for driven and highly experienced Site Engineers (Surveillance) 8-10 years experience - various positions including - Network Operator, Port 2 REZ, WHSE. Also Project Managers with 8–10 years in Tier 1 construction for the Renewable Energy Zone project in Central West NSW. The project involves building transmission lines, energy hubs, and infrastructure to connect renewable energy to consumers, with completion expected by 2028. Key Responsibilities: Review schedule and other Project delivery management plans to gain an understanding of forecast Project construction works activities. Conduct regular site surveillance to assess early works and construction works progress, plus identify non-conformances, and ensure client adherence to Project Deed obligations in addition to Interfacing Projects. Maintain detailed records of site and construction works activities, including daily diaries, photographs, and as-constructed drawings, to support progress tracking and monthly reporting. Facilitate site visits for Project team members and other stakeholders, providing guidance and support where needed. Assist with the collation and analysis of site surveillance data to produce detailed and accurate reports for governance and decision-making, Project delivery management and commercial activities. Conduct environmental surveillance, working closely with the Project environment team and ER including: Geotech site investigations, Soil resistivity testing, Heritage investigations, Existing road assessments and Site establishment (offices, worker residence, etc.). Key Knowledge and Experience: Minimum 8-10 years relevant experience, including: Construction/ Site Management or Surveillance experience on major greenfield infrastructure project. Desirable Knowledge and Experience: Surveillance experience on a Public-Private Partnership project. Delivery experience on a transmission / energy project. Demonstrated knowledge of, and experience applying, standards, policies and codes of practice applicable to construction works. Knowledge and understanding of transmission and / or substation design. Understanding of the legal and regulatory framework applicable to REZ. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders. Proficiency in using construction management software and tools. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
