Position Objective: The Project Manager reports to the Operations Manager and oversees all projects, assisting with Business Development, Estimating, Vendor Relations, and Employee Development.
Workplace Duties include managing financial aspects of projects, understanding and executing contracts, labour forecasting, setting goals for staff, negotiating with suppliers, resolving customer concerns, designing project commissioning plans, reviewing tenders, understanding project contracts, pricing and estimating variations, maintaining key supplier relationships, and ensuring project handover and DLP processes.
Ensure safety and compliance with all policies, regulations, and legislation. Operate with minimal supervision and maintain professionalism.
Qualifications and Experience required: Current Driver's Licence, 10 years in construction-related field, 5 years in a Project Management role, PMP or Prince2 certification preferred, Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or Business Management.
Knowledge and Skills: Project Management, Construction Management, Estimating & Forecasting, Work Scheduling, MS Office Suite, Construction Safety Laws, Vendor Management, Contract Negotiation.
Physical Requirements/Work Environment: Sedentary work, computer use, lifting, standing, repetitive motions.
Health & Safety: Comply with safety policies, report hazards and incidents, complete training, and adhere to safety legislation.
