Discover Your Passion for Heritage
This unique opportunity will have you share stories about Tasmanian railway history with visitors.
To excel in this role, you'll need excellent communication skills and a passion for engaging with people.
You'll work flexible shifts on weekends, typically 3-5 hours.
We're seeking someone who is enthusiastic about public speaking and has a strong ability to convey historical information effectively.
As a Museum Guide, your primary responsibility will be to conduct guided tours and answer questions from visitors.
In addition to sharing your knowledge of the railways, you'll also play a key role in helping us maintain our museum's high standards of quality and service.
We're looking for a dedicated individual who can commit to working occasional evenings and weekdays as required.
Your contributions will not only enhance the experience of our visitors but also help us achieve our goal of preserving Tasmania's rich railway heritage.
We appreciate any level of prior experience or training you may have in areas such as history, education, or tourism. However, we're more interested in finding someone with a genuine enthusiasm for sharing their knowledge and passion for the subject matter.
If you're passionate about engaging with people and sharing your love of history, we'd love to hear from you!
