The Role
JOHNEX explosives is expanding its WA team at several locations and is seeking highly experienced MPU operators to join our crew. Positions are available on a FIFO roster from Perth as well as Kalgoorlie-based residential roles.
Rosters for most locations are 8x6 with 7x7 possible for Kalgoorlie residential, working 12-hour shifts.
These permanent full-time positions offer exciting opportunities in a dynamic explosives industry.
About You
Successful applicants must be 20 years or older and meet the following requirements:
* Extensive MPU operational experience, including the ability to perform routine maintenance and repairs.
* HR driver's licence (HC or MC licence highly regarded)
* Dangerous Goods Driver's Licence
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to fault-find on MPUs
* Willingness to assist blast crews with priming, stemming and tie ups of shots
* Current WA Dangerous Goods Security Clearance (DGSC)
* A national police clearance issued within the last 3 months
* Ability to pass a drug and alcohol screening and a medical fitness for work assessment
* Immediate availability will be an advantage
