The Records Officer is responsible for the effective management of the organisation's records, ensuring they are recorded, retrieved, stored, archived, and moved in compliance with legislative and Council requirements. This role involves providing exceptional customer service while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. You will support the Records Team Leader and contribute to best practices in records management.
* Develop and maintain a secure records management system that meets compliance standards.
* Utilise the Electronic Document Records Management System (EDRMS) for document indexing, retrieval, and archiving.
* Digitise physical files and ensure accurate uploading of documents into the EDRMS.
* Participate in quality control audits and ensure the accuracy of records prior to destruction.
* A Certificate IV in Recordkeeping, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with various stakeholders.
* Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office products and attention to detail.
* A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and privacy in all records-related matters.
* A satisfactory National Police Check and a current NSW Class C Driver's License.

Salary: $1,190.10 to $1,250.24 per week + 12% superannuation
Position Status: Permanent – Full-time
Hours of work: 35 hours per week - RDO every three weeks
