Education and Social Participation | Lonsdale Street | Ongoing - Part-time

* Ongoing part time positions based at our Lonsdale Street Office
* Annual salary is $111,370 + 12% super (pro-rated)
* Positions will be at 0.5 FTE

About the role:

If successful, you will provide strategic and operational leadership in the delivery of client-centred, integrated and financially sustainable education and training programs within assigned Hub/sites. You will lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams comprising coordinators, teachers, trainers and administrative employees. The emphasis of the position is on achieving streamlined operations, quality services, financial viability, and alignment with the Education Strategic Plan.


To be considered for this role, you will be able to demonstrate the following key selection criteria:

* Degree in Education, Business, Management or related field
* Minimum 5 years' experience working with clients to build settlement, employment and/or education readiness; including at least 2 years' experience in a leadership position
* Demonstrated expertise in managing multi‑site education program delivery with strong knowledge of compliance and quality frameworks, and ability to identify and manage operational risk
* Demonstrated strong leadership, mentoring, performance management and workforce planning skills.
* Comprehensive understanding of adult education, CALD client needs, and community/industry partnerships.
* Demonstrated knowledge of relevant accredited curricula, and the ability to lead the development of program and contextualised learning programs
* Demonstrated business development skills and ability to in‑build and maintain partnerships with communities, employers, corporate partners and industry groups to gain and expand into new business areas.
* Strong business acumen with proven ability to achieve program KPIs, financial and quality benchmarks, budget management and reporting
* Demonstrated ability to provide pathway counselling
* Ability to lead and apply an extensive range of teaching strategies and resources, and delivery models, to optimise learning outcomes
* Extensive knowledge of the education and employment sectors to effectively drive Foundation Skills and VET programs to meet the needs of providers and individuals
