Overview
Group 6 Metals – APTL is looking for a Stores and Receipting Officer. This is a full-time role on King Island at the Dolphin Tungsten Mine, Grassy.
The Stores and Receipting Officer role will support the operations of stores and receipting functions under the direction of the Team Leader.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide day-to-day assistance and support to the Stores and Purchasing Team Leader and Officer
* Undertake receipt of incoming goods, inspecting and checking for damage and accuracy against documentation and address any discrepancies
* Investigate and resolve accounts payable queries as required particularly in relation to goods and services receipting
* Ensure accurate and timely receipting of purchase orders in PRONTO for invoice processing by Accounts Payable
* Regularly assist in performing cyclic stock takes and reconcile usage and balances with operations as required
About you
* Previous experience in a similar position
* Strong communication and accuracy skills
* Strong commitment to workplace safety
* National Police Clearance or ability to attain one
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screen
* Hold a current unrestricted Australian Drivers License
* National Police Clearance required
* Be health, safe and environmentally conscious
