Our client is seeking a talented Senior Associate (or an experienced Associate ready to step up) to join their dynamic Corporate team in Brisbane. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-impact transactions and collaborate with a supportive, high-performing team.
About the Role
You will work closely with three Partners in Brisbane and a fantastic team comprising 1 Special Counsel, 2 Associates, 1 Solicitor, and 1 Graduate. The role offers a mix of private and public work, including:
* Advising corporate clients from start-ups to listed companies
* Equity capital markets transactions: IPOs, demergers, secondary raisings
* M&A and takeovers: due diligence, negotiation, and preparation of key transaction documents
* Assisting listed companies with General Meeting materials, ASX/ASIC liaison, and ASX Listing Rule compliance
* Providing corporate governance advice to listed, unlisted, and private companies
Ideal Candidate
* 4–7 years PAE
* Broad experience across M&A, capital markets, commercial negotiations, and corporate advisory
* Strong knowledge of the Corporations Act and ASX Listing Rules
