Internal Sales / Admin. Operations


Electrical & Security Distribution | Branch Sales & Operations

An established and growing electrical / CCTV distribution business is seeking an experienced Internal Sales / Admin. Operations person to oversee branch operations and support both the state sales team and our valued customers.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and takes pride in running an efficient operation that enables sales teams to succeed and customers to receive exceptional service.

About the Role

You will be responsible for ensuring warehouse, logistics, and customer-facing processes run smoothly and efficiently.

Key responsibilities include:

* Processing Sales orders from phone, email or face to face customer interaction.
* Work with customers and suppliers to ensure fast and efficient supply of goods.
* Supporting the state sales team with stock availability, order fulfilment, and operational coordination
* Overseeing inventory control, stock accuracy, and cycle counts
* Liaising directly with customers to resolve operational or delivery-related issues
* Driving continuous improvement across safety, efficiency, and service levels

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

* Proven experience in an operations or internal sales role (electrical, industrial, or trade distribution highly regarded.
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills
* A customer-focused mindset with strong communication skills
* Confidence working closely with sales teams to support business outcomes
* Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain)
* A proactive, solutions-driven attitude

* Ability to work both autonomously and as a team
* You will need your own transport and a drivers license.
