Administration Officer - Jabiru, Northern Territory
Live and work in the beautiful surrounds of World Heritage listed Kakadu National Park. Just 2.5hrs drive from Darwin.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Answer incoming telephone calls and emails, directing enquiries
* Daily collection and distribution of mail
* Assist with enquiries and process applications for the West Arnhem ID Card
* General office duties such as ordering office, kitchen supplies and catering, completing stocktakes.
* Assist with meetings and events including set‐up and cleaning
* Co‐ordinate bookings for GAC visitor accommodation in liaison with GAC contract cleaner including pre and post booking inspections and amenity replenishment
* Maintain assets register and key register for GAC properties and buildings
* Co‐ordinate housing maintenance request forms and liaise with Operations Lead for repairs
* File management and archiving
* Assist with general office duties as required
* Cleaning duties as required
* Processing of requests from Board members as required.
* Assist the Corporate Lead with compiling and entering invoices in DEXT, processing payments and other administration tasks as directed
* Assist with other tasks as directed by the CEO or delegates
SELECTION CRITERIA
* Advanced proficiency across Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams and SharePoint.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to form strong working relationships with colleagues and members and build credibility and rapport with stakeholders.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
* A high‐level of personal motivation, sound judgement and initiative, a flexible attitude and approach.
REQUIREMENTS
* Manual NT driver's license and ability to operate manual vehicles
* Working with Children Check (or able to obtain)
* Police Check
* Salary up to $75,000 based on experience
* 15% Superannuation
* 9 Day fortnight (7.5hr days!)
* 6 weeks annual leave
