Opportunity
Due to continued national growth, an exciting opportunity exists for a WA Account Manager to join the industrial division and drive business growth across Western Australia. You’ll manage and grow key customer relationships, working across various channels including end users, contractors, and distributors. This is a strategic role requiring strong B2B sales acumen, the ability to hunt for new business, and the skill to grow share of wallet within existing accounts.
Reporting remotely to an interstate Sales Manager, you’ll enjoy autonomy, flexibility, and the ability to work from home when not in front of customers. You’ll also be a technical advisor, supporting customers with product selection and application knowledge – particularly around mechanical and power transmission solutions. Your understanding of industrial operations and mechanical systems will be vital in delivering client value and securing long-term business.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and grow a portfolio of industrial clients across WA, including end users, distributors, and OEMs
Identify new business opportunities and convert prospects through proactive field-based sales activity
Provide technical support and training on power transmission and general industrial products
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and channel partners to deliver tailored customer solutions
Conduct regular site visits and product demonstrations to understand and meet client needs
Prepare quotes, manage tenders, and close deals with a focus on delivering value-added service
Maintain accurate CRM records and sales forecasting to support planning and reporting

$100,000–$120,000 base salary + superannuation
Fully maintained company vehicle (including fuel and tolls) or $20,000 car allowance

Candidate Profile
We’re seeking a motivated and technically minded professional with the following:
Proven B2B sales experience in the mining or industrial sectors, ideally dealing with asset owners or EPCs
Background in trade (e.g., fitting, machining, mechanical) or qualifications in mechanical engineering
Experience selling MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) products or solutions
Knowledge of power transmission, hydraulics, pneumatics, or general mechanical components
Strong relationship-building skills, with a commercial mindset and technical aptitude
Ability to work independently, manage a large territory, and drive business growth
