Job Description
This is a senior leadership role where you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of a team of technicians. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively, while also providing guidance and support to your team members.
You will be working closely with other departments to ensure seamless integration of services and smooth day-to-day operations. You will be expected to maintain a high level of expertise in HVAC theory, pipe fitting, mechanical layouts, and control systems.
Your role will involve leading by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence in all aspects of your work. You will be responsible for identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintenance and repair of mechanical plant using knowledge of HVAC theory, pipe fitting, mechanical layouts, and control systems
* Operational supervision and support for a team of apprentices and HVAC technicians
* Contract management and associated deliverables
* Quoting and small project management
* System diagnostics of HVAC systems
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need to have relevant trade qualifications and at least 5 years of related experience. You should also have knowledge of Microsoft Office software and a relevant QLD license. Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate a team to meet customer satisfaction targets are essential.
