Your role at St John of God Midland HospitalSt John of God Midland are currently seeking a Registered Nurse within a permanent part-time capacity to join their ICU / Critical Care Unit.You will provide a high level of skill and knowledge providing care to some of our most vulnerable, and critically ill patients in a high-pressure environment.
Our critical and intensive care nurses are committed and dedicated to providing exceptional care to their patients in their recovery and support to their loved ones.The PositionAssesses plans, delivers and evaluates patient care, seeking support from senior staff as required.Promotes and contributes to effective communication, facilitating teamwork and cooperation within the department and within the hospital.Provides patient education and acts as a resource where appropriate.Supports and supervises staff and students as required, including orientating and preceptoring staff.Contributes to the achievement of Hospital and Clinical Services operational objectives.You will have a registration with Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse, a demonstrated commitment to quality patient care and satisfaction, along with well-developed interpersonal and relationship building skills.To succeed you will have an ability to work effectively and harmoniously within the multi-disciplinary health care team, with a commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
