Electrical Engineer Job Description
The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for utilizing their technical expertise to support the safe and effective operation, maintenance, and management of facility assets, infrastructure, and systems.
Job Responsibilities:
* Perform technical studies, analyses, investigations, and consultations to ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety requirements.
* Identify and develop detailed requirements for facility infrastructure, equipment, and system modifications, replacements, upgrades, or recapitalizations.
* Design and develop solutions for technical problems across the electrical engineering discipline.
* Review and advise on proposed changes to facility infrastructure and systems from concepts to detailed designs.
* Perform engineering calculations supporting facility infrastructure operation and design.
* Provide technical recommendations on system reliability, operation, maintenance, lifecycle management, and costing.
* Evaluate operational systems and infrastructure for optimization and improvement initiatives.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance is required.
* Undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is necessary.
* Familiarity with power generation, distribution, load management, and data center power systems is preferred.
