About The Role
The Sales Consultant role is crucial to the operational success of the team, providing sales support to members via phone, email, chat and other media as required. Sales Consultants are highly knowledgeable about process, procedures, and business rules, enabling a value-based approach to meeting member expectations. The primary role is acquisition of new business. This position executes the sales processing end to end (inbound enquires, application data entry, sending offers, payment and committing policies) as well as providing up/cross selling. This role also has a sales target and will assist with the retention of members where required.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver consistently superior service to new members, exceeding expectations.
Ensure the provision of quality work in all aspects of service delivery.
Assist with onboarding new members, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to enhance service efficiency and effectiveness.
Achieve individual & team sales targets
Contribute actively to the overall success and goals of the department.
Adhere to Occupational Health & Safety guidelines and promote a safe work environment.
To be successful you will have:
Proven experience in a sales-oriented role, with a strong track record of delivering excellent customer service and achieving sales targets.
Attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work.
Ability to maintain accurate records and handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety regulations and practices preferred.
