As a key member of our HR Team, the HR Advisor will work closely with our HR Employee Services Manager across several HR streams of work. The role of HR Advisor will require someone who is a quick thinker, can manage multiple tasks at once, is good at troubleshooting systems, can pivot between both admin tasks and strategic tasks and can cope under pressure.
**Key duties and responsibilities**:
- Provide operational support to Human Resource Business Partners, Managers and Employees on agreed HR processes, policies and procedures, HR Cyclical Programs including maintaining the HR Calendar of Events
- Preparation of draft communications for HR Cyclical Programs and other HR ad-hoc events
- Attend and participate in reoccurring HR International system meetings and local HR Team meetings
- Work in collaboration with all Sector HR to ensure the alignment of Human Resources processes/ programs and compliance across Australia
- Maintain People Portal and HR Team Page SharePoint functionality, including; creation of tiles or pages, updating annual documents, editing user access to controlled tiles etc.
- Assist with the creation and appropriate distribution of regular and ad-hoc HR reporting to the business and reporting to external stakeholders
- Review and update employment contracts and letter templates as required
- Provide administrative support for the HR function - such as updating documents and templates, purchase requisitions and invoicing etc.
- Assist with the development, drafting and implementation of new HR policies and procedures as required
- Maintain and update on-boarding and repatriation HR processes and documentation for expatriates
