Business Development Manager – Power & Energy Solutions | Perth, WA

Our client is a leading provider of industrial power and energy solutions, supporting major mining, infrastructure and industrial operations across WA. Delivering generator, compressor and temperature control rental solutions - including modern hybrid and battery energy systems - they are seeking a commercially focused Business Development Manager to join their Perth team.

This is a strategic territory role suited to someone who enjoys building long-term partnerships, engaging senior decision-makers and positioning solutions on large-scale projects rather than transactional sales.

Position Details
Permanent full time
Monday to Friday
Perth based with occasional regional travel
Competitive base salary + vehicle for work and personal use, includes fuel card + quarterly bonuses
Start: ASAP (flexible)

The Opportunity
You will take ownership of a defined region as part of a wider national BDM team, each responsible for their own territory. The focus of the role is relationship-led growth — developing trusted partnerships with clients and identifying larger upcoming opportunities such as power stations, infrastructure packages and long-term site energy solutions.
You will work closely with engineering and operations teams to shape tailored solutions and engage stakeholders from site level through to executive leadership.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage strategic relationships across your territory
Engage with senior stakeholders including Project Directors, Asset Managers and C-suite
Identify and pursue major project opportunities and long-term energy supply contracts
Position technical rental and hybrid power solutions aligned to client operational needs
Lead commercial discussions and negotiate high-value agreements
Collaborate internally with engineering and operations to deliver complex projects
Maintain market intelligence and forward pipeline visibility

What You'll Bring
Proven Business Development experience in a technical B2B environment (essential)
Exposure to power generation, industrial services, infrastructure or equipment hire (preferred)
Ability to build credibility with senior decision-makers
Strong commercial acumen and negotiation capability
Relationship-driven approach focused on long-term partnerships
Comfortable operating autonomously within a defined region
