Academic Position in Marketing
University of Melbourne invites applications for a full‑time, continuing Academic Position in Marketing. The successful candidate will contribute to cutting‑edge research, high‑quality teaching, and industry engagement at the Faculty of Business and Economics.
Pay range
Base salary: A$124,656.00–A$202,556.00 / yr. The position includes an attractive salary package, negotiable + 17% superannuation.
Responsibilities
* Conduct original, high‑quality research in key departmental focus areas, secure external funding, publish in leading academic journals, and supervise Masters and PhD students.
* Design, deliver engaging teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate levels, develop innovative curricula and e‑learning materials, and support strong academic outcomes for students.
* Contribute to the collegial, intellectual and professional life of the department through committee participation, leadership in academic events, and active engagement with industry and community partners.
Qualifications
* Level D (Associate Professor) : Internationally recognised research record, PhD in Marketing, evidence of publications in top‑ranked journals, experience supervising graduate students, secure research funding; leadership in teaching and curriculum development.
* Level B (Lecturer) : PhD in Marketing (or near completion), emerging high‑quality research, teaching experience in priority areas, commitment to excellent teaching and collegial environment, active conference participation.
