The opportunity
Responsible for maintaining the accounts payable functions whilst ensuring accurate and timeliness processing of invoices together with the investigation and analysis of variances.
* Processing of payments by matching invoices to purchase orders and delivery dockets and distribute cheques according to established procedures
* Prepare cheques and EFT payments
* Verify vendor statements and handle all correspondence involving accounts payable
* Assist in resolution of complaints between vendor and customer
* Assist with month and year-end close out procedures and records
You will have:
* 2 years experience in a similar role
* A good understanding of the financial compliance around recording activities for commercial entities in respect of GST FBT and PAYG
* Strong knowledge of accounts receivable accounts payable and maintaining general ledgers
* High attention to detail
