The Finance and Property department are seeking to recruit a full-time Rates / Finance Officer to support the team in completing work resulting from changes to the Emergency Services Volunteer Fund from the property services levy. Additionally the successful applicant will provide support to the finance team through the implementation of council's new software system.
To be successful in this role you will need
Qualifications
Current Drivers Licence and Employee Working With Children's Check are required.
Experience in a rating or similar field and demonstrated skill and experience in customer service are essential.
Key Selection Criteria
 * Experience in the handling and reconciliation of financial transactions.
 * Understanding of the services and activities undertaken by the Shire.
 * Knowledge of relevant technology and equipment for the use related to this position.
