About the Role:
The Events Coordinator is responsible for planning and delivering high-impact IPA events while maximising value from sponsored industry events. Working closely with the DBG National Events Manager, this role manages event timelines, communications, budgets, and post-event reporting to ensure a seamless experience for all stakeholders. You'll collaborate with teams across IPA and occasionally support broader DBG projects, playing a key role in bringing our events calendar to life and enhancing engagement across the network. Role & Responsibilities:
* Manage event project timelines and ensure that tasks are completed as outlined or agreed
* Ensure seamless event operations, from attendee registration to floor plans, catering requirements, AV, entertainment, and more
* Ensure all sponsor requirements are met for IPA events
* Liaise with vendors & suppliers to ensure all event elements are executed flawlessly.
* Plan and develop communications plans for internal and external stakeholders
* Ensure that internal and stakeholders are briefed and have the required information in relation to the event
* Brief communication requirements to the communications team to ensure the right information is communicated to member, suppliers and delegates at the right time
* Design and conduct surveys to gather feedback from sponsor delegates, member delegates and team delegates

Skills & Experience:
* A degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
* Min 2yrs in marketing, communications or public relation experience
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Proficiency in MS Office Applications – Powerpoint, Word, Excel
* Experience in managing managing events and briefing suppliers
* Minor travel requirements eg store visits, interstate for work events and conferences
