About the Role As a Community Support Worker, you will provide personalised, in-home support to our elderly clients, helping them maintain independence and improve their quality of life.
Each day is different as you visit multiple clients, offering care and assistance tailored to their individual needs.
Key Responsibilities Personal care (e.g. showering, dressing, grooming, medication prompts)
Social support and transport (e.g. attending medical appointments, shopping, outings)
Domestic assistance (e.g. light cleaning, laundry, meal preparation)
Support with mobility and use of personal equipment
Assistance for clients with complex or high-care needs
Monitoring and reporting on client well-being
Documenting visit notes using a mobile app About You Compassionate, friendly, and reliable
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Able to build trust and strong rapport with clients
Comfortable using mobile apps for documentation
Flexible and adaptable to changing client needs Essential Requirements Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability, or Home & Community Care
Current First Aid & CPR certificates
Valid National Police Check (issued within the last 6 months)
Australian Driver's Licence and own reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
Minimum two doses of COVID-19 vaccination
Smartphone with internet access
Willingness to complete online onboarding, training modules, and attend a paid in-person induction at one of our HCA offices (Brisbane, Gold Coast, or Sunshine Coast) Why Choose HCA?
