About the role
Lotus Holistic Medicine is seeking a talented and customer-focused Medical Receptionist to join our team in Maroochydore, QLD. This is a full-time role that will see you playing a vital part in the smooth running of our medical and wellness practice.
As the first point of contact for our patients, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative functions to ensure a positive experience for all who visit our clinic.
What you'll be doing
* Being the first contact and welcoming patients as they arrive
* Answering incoming phone calls and responding to patient enquiries
* Booking and managing patient appointments using medical practice software
* Collecting and processing patient information and documentation
* Maintaining accurate medical records and patient files
* Assisting with billing, banking and debtor management
* Monitoring stock control of supplements
* General Administrative duties and tasks that contribute to the smooth running of the clinic.
What we're looking for
* Previous experience in a medical practice, ideally as a receptionist or customer service role
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide exceptional customer service
* Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
* Proficient in using medical practice software and office computer systems
* Knowledge of medical terminology and practices
* A warm, friendly and professional demeanor
