Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Lifestyle Coordinator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to develop, plan and implement lifestyle activities and programs that promote the dignity, life and spirituality of older people.
As a member of our Leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring residents have choice in maintaining their social, psychological, recreational cultural and spiritual wellbeing.
You will work closely with residents, families and staff to develop individualized care plans that meet their unique needs and preferences.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a kind heart and a passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, plan and implement lifestyle activities and programs that promote resident wellbeing
* Conduct resident assessments to gain a deeper understanding of each resident's preferences and needs
* Act as team leader, providing coaching, supervision and guidance to the lifestyle team
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or similar qualification
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Able to establish and maintain professional relationships with residents and their families
* Commitment to respecting the values, customs and preferences of residents
* Great IT skills
* NDIS and Police check clearance (or willing to obtain)
