We are partnering with a leading Australian manufacturer specialising in corrosion prevention, sealing solutions, and high-performance industrial components. Their Campbellfield facility is expanding, and they are looking for hands-on Machine Operators / Production Workers to join their production team.
This is a day shift, full-time role offering long-term stability, career development, and on-the-job training. You'll be working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment operating machinery, assisting production lines, and supporting warehouse operations.
Hours: Monday - Friday | 6:00am - 2:00pm
Salary: $75,000 per year + super
Benefits: Monthly paid RDO, on-the-job development, and training
What You'll Be Doing
* Operate, set up, and maintain production machinery for cutting, pressing, bending, or shaping materials
* Assist with packaging and processing tasks
* Perform start-up, shut-down, and job change procedures on machinery
* Conduct quality checks using measuring tools to ensure product specifications are met
* Troubleshoot minor machine issues and report defects
* Operate forklifts to transfer stock, materials, and semi-finished products
* Support colleagues with machine set-up and production-related tasks
* Manufacture and process industrial components including fibreglass jackets and other materials
* Maintain clean, safe, and organised work areas in compliance with OH&S and QA procedures
* Safely handle and decant Dangerous Goods when required
What You'll Need
* Previous experience in production or manufacturing - this is essential and will need minimum 3 years consistent experience
* Mechanical aptitude with ability to troubleshoot minor problems
* Victorian or Australian Driver's License
* Ability to lift 15-20kg safely
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
* Ability to work independently and within a team
* Strong safety culture and willingness to learn
Desirable: Experience working with QA procedures, SOPs, and in a controlled manufacturing environment
