Job Title: Precinct Coordinator
Role Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Precinct Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the precinct management committees, key stakeholders, and the wider community.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide administrative support to the precinct management committees, key stakeholders, and the wider community;
* Lead virtual precinct teams to deliver on developed strategies, processes, and procedures;
* Work closely with technical and professional staff in the precincts, academics, and other parties undertaking research and teaching activities in these areas, supporting safe work practices, infrastructure mapping and planning, efficient allocation and utilisation of spaces.
Essential Criteria
1. Relevant degree in Science, Engineering, Business, Administration etc. or extensive experience and specialist expertise in technical or administrative fields; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training.
2. Proven expertise in working in a professional environment with an understanding of organisational goals and processes to measure outcomes against key performance indicators.
3. Demonstrated problem solving capability, including the ability to research required information, prioritise workload and manage competing deadlines.
4. Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills, including submission and report writing skills.
5. Demonstrated ability to build rapport and effectively engage with diverse stakeholders and the ability to work both autonomously and cooperatively within a university or similarly multifaceted organisation context.
6. Experience in identifying risk and advising and implementing appropriate action.
7. Demonstrated ability to analyse, redesign, and enhance processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase productivity.
8. Knowledge of, and experience in adhering to workplace policies and procedures in the areas of work health safety, equity, diversity and promoting a respectful workplace culture.
