About the role This role involves managing HR for our national business. Duties will include:
Continued development and delivery of the HR framework aligned with our business strategy Providing compliant and holistic advice for all employee relations and wellbeing matters Partnering with the leadership team to identify and address workforce planning needs Leading the talent acquisition, onboarding and induction programs Providing support and guidance for employee development and succession planning Leading performance coaching, counselling and termination processes Developing and implementing policies and procedures Managing work and non-work related injury and illness Leading the collaboration and implementation of initiatives for employee engagement and wellbeing Championing process improvement, employee training and systems administration in Employment Hero Providing assistance with payroll, safety and general administration About you The following skills / qualifications are essential for this role:
7+ years' experience in HR Qualifications in HR (or similar) or equivalent experience Strong understanding of HR compliance and best practice Demonstrated working knowledge and experience in proactively managing operational HR matters, including disciplinary, conduct and grievance issues Proficient in HRIS software management, preferably Employment Hero Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to drive outcomes with purpose and accountability Open and accepting of different ideas and experiences Ability to bring a team together to achieve a combined end goal Self-motivated Ability to work effectively with a nationally-distributed team A drive to contribute ideas and improve existing processes and systems Willingness to travel to other offices from time-to-time Alignment with our company values.
