Human Resource Manager required for Multi-Entity Role | Growing Company

Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Human Resource Manager to lead and manage HR operations within our dynamic organization, which encompasses three thriving business entities in the construction and traffic management sectors. This pivotal role will drive strategic HR initiatives, support our leadership team, and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will thrive under pressure, be passionate about shaping organizational culture, and making a real impact on our workforce.

Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement HR strategies and policies aligned with organizational goals.
* Manage conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, performance management, and maintain strong industrial relations compliance.
* Mentor and coach managers to strengthen leadership capability and enhance employee engagement.
* Ensure adherence to employment laws, health & safety regulations, and data protection standards.
* Oversee recruitment processes including job postings, screening, and interviews.
* Design and implement employee development programs to foster growth and skill enhancement.
* Administer competitive benefits and pay structures to attract and retain talent.
* Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases, with strong experience in the Employment Hero platform.
* Conduct regular HR audits to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR management, preferably in a managerial role.
* Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations in Australia.
* Proven experience in conflict resolution and employee relations.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to mentor and coach managers effectively.
* Experience with HR software, particularly Employment Hero, is highly desirable.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
