Working an equal time 2/2 roster (approximately 11 hours per shift), you'll be responsible for delivering reliable electrical maintenance services across village accommodation and facilities.
Your Duties Will Include
* General electrical maintenance and repairs across village assets
* Air-conditioning maintenance and minor installations
* Test and tag of electrical equipment in line with Australian Standards
* Smoke alarm inspection and maintenance
* Completion of daily maintenance logs and reporting emerging issues to the Village Manager/Client.
* Contributing to preventative maintenance planning
* Ensuring all work complies with WHS and electrical regulations
About You
You're a reliable, safety-focused electrician who takes pride in quality work and can operate confidently in a remote FIFO environment.
You Will Demonstrate
* Strong electrical maintenance and fault-finding capability
* Experience in an industrial, facilities, or village maintenance environment
* Excellent time management and communication skills
* A strong safety mindset and attention to detail
* Ability to work autonomously while contributing positively to a team
Mandatory & Preferred Requirements
* Current WA Electrical Licence (mandatory)
* Electrical Trade Certificate
* Provide First Aid & CPR/LVR (or willingness to obtain)
* Construction White Card
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol screening, and police check.
