Account Manager - Hanbury Strategy
Hanbury Strategy is seeking a driven and strategic Account Manager to lead the day-to-day programme implementation across a portfolio of client accounts. You will drive the delivery of excellent work and client service, fostering positive client relationships while cultivating skills as a strategic client counsellor and people manager.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
You will work with colleagues at all levels, from Executives to Partners, driving the delivery of excellent work and client service. You will be involved in a range of tasks and projects, which might include:
Driving programme implementation across an average of five different accounts, ensuring deadlines are met and quality is maintained.
Developing an understanding of client needs and business drivers to make useful suggestions for key deliverables, such as media/policy monitoring and detailed research.
Creating proposals and linking client business objectives to communications and public affairs strategies and tactics.
Handling general account administration with strong attention to detail and delegating effectively to junior colleagues.
Demonstrating critical thinking to produce strategic advice for clients and contribute positively to meetings and brainstorms.
Identifying opportunities for organic growth, cross-selling, and contributing to new business proposals and pitches.
You will:
Have 2-4 years of experience working in public affairs (agency or in-house), policy, politics, communications or the media.
Be able to manage multiple deadlines effectively and think laterally to resolve problems.
Demonstrate the ability to work successfully with and mentor junior colleagues, including delegation and time management.
Have good presentation skills and be able to play a positive, active role in pitches and proposals.
Be a brand ambassador for Hanbury, with the appetite to grow your network and support the growth of our brand in the local market.

Working hours are 9-6 with one hour for lunch. Hanbury is a global company, and you will sometimes be required to join calls outside of Australian working hours
