How You Will Contribute:
Join the dynamic Commercial Marketing team at Saputo Dairy Australia (SDA) and play a key role in driving profit and growth! As an Assistant Brand Manager – Specialty Cheese, you will support the planning and execution of marketing strategies for the Specialty Cheese portfolio, including brands like Tasmanian Heritage, Mersey Valley, South Cape, and Australian Gold. Your responsibilities include new product development, brand planning, shopper marketing, e-commerce initiatives, and collaboration projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Commercial Acumen: Manage P&L;, pricing, budgets, purchase orders, invoicing, and monthly reporting on key metrics.
- Strategic Development: Support annual planning, execute strategies, and track brand performance.
- Mental Availability / Communications: Collaborate with agencies for creative campaigns, lead shopper marketing and e-commerce initiatives, and manage sponsorships.
- Physical Availability / Channel & Customer Development: Implement in-store and online activities, develop communication objectives, and drive channel strategies.
- Innovation: Contribute to innovation strategies, lead new product development, and work with commercialization teams.
Skills & Experience:
- Qualifications in Commerce or Marketing (tertiary/postgraduate).
- 2-3 years in FMCG, with experience in NPD, working with agencies, and digital/social media management.
- Familiarity with sales data software (preferred), passion for brands and consumer marketing, strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and attention to detail.
