Marine Asset Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Engineer to join our team on a seasonal basis. As part of our fleet management operations, you will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of our marine vessels and assets.

About the Role
This role involves ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of our marine assets, including vessels and pontoons. You will work on a rotational roster at our pontoon based in Talbot Bay, with days off spent in Broome.
* Maintain and repair marine vessels and assets to ensure their continuous and reliable operation
* Upkeep and maintenance of daily systems, including generators, desalination, sewage treatment plants and outboard motor maintenance
* Inspect, troubleshoot and diagnose issues in mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems
* Implement preventative maintenance programs to maximise asset performance and minimise downtime
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities through digital asset management systems
* Ensure compliance with marine safety regulations and company procedures
* Assist with refuelling of vessels and aircraft at the pontoon
* Assist with launching and docking of seaplanes at the pontoon

About You
We are looking for an individual with prior experience as a Marine Engineer, holding an AMSA issued Marine Engine Driver Grade 2 (MED 2) certification and an AMSA issued Coxswain ticket at minimum. A valid First Aid and CPR certificate, with remote first aid being advantageous is also required.
You will have a proactive approach to problem-solving, a 'can-do' attitude and excellent communication skills. You must be able to work independently and as part of a team, using your initiative and problem-solving abilities to achieve optimal outcomes.
