The Arnhem Land Progress Aboriginal Corporation (ALPA) is the largest First Nations corporation in Australia with over 1400 team members, operating in 26 remote locations across the Northern Territory and Queensland. We are looking for passionate and enthusiastic retailers to manage the successful operation of our supermarket stores in Arnhem Land NT and Far North Qld. This role does not have a permanent home base as you will travel between remote communities to provide relief support to our supermarkets when required.

What You Will Be Doing...
* Manage the successful operation of supermarkets in remote First Nations communities
* Train and mentor local team members
* Deliver on ALPA's nutrition policy
* Work with merchandising, nutrition, and local stakeholders to meet community needs
What We Are Looking For...
* Experience using electronic retail systems for stock control, point of sale, and staff management
* Strong interpersonal skills that can be adapted to meet the needs of people from all education levels, language abilities, and cultures
* Ability to manage the unique challenges of remote communities including limited resources, unpredictable supply chains, and cultural considerations/sensitivities
