You will specialise in metastatic breast care within a multidisciplinary cancer care team. You will provide information, education and support to breast cancer patients and deliver high-quality, person-centred care. Responsibilities
Specialise in metastatic breast care and provide information, education and support to patients.
Deliver high-quality, person-centred care within a multidisciplinary team.
Contribute to care planning and patient education initiatives in breast cancer nursing.
Qualifications and Experience
Current registration with AHPRA - Division 1 Registered Nurse.
Minimum five years full-time equivalent post-qualification experience, with at least three years in breast cancer nursing and postgraduate qualifications in Breast Care Nursing.
Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills across various mediums and an understanding of the practice development framework.
Proven ability to implement changes and develop direction in clinical practice using evidence-based research.
Experience in strategic and clinical service planning, including organisational behaviour, change management and cultural change processes.
Skills in clinical teaching and the development of specialty education programs; competency in contemporary information systems.
Clinical expertise in patient-centred consultancy with the ability to work independently.
Current NSW driver's licence and willingness to use it as required.
