The Office of the Minister for Lands and Property, Minister for Multiculturalism, Minister for Sport, and Minister for Jobs and Tourism, the Hon. Stephen Kamper, MP is looking for a highly motivated person to fill the role of Media Adviser.
About the role:
As the Media Adviser, you'll step into a high‐impact role where you'll drive media stories, shape Ministerial speeches, and support key priorities. You'll also lead a strong social media presence to ensure clear and confident messaging. In this pivotal role, the Media Adviser ensures all communications are strategic, timely and aligned with the Minister's priorities.
Core requirements:
* Social Media Management: Experience in successfully creating and executing compelling content tailored to various social media platforms.
* Professional Writing: Exceptional writing skills with the ability to develop diverse content, including media releases, Q&As, talking points, speeches, and social media content.
* Subject Matter Expertise: Keen interest in and sound knowledge of current and emerging public policy issues, or the ability to rapidly acquire such knowledge.
* Strategic Analysis: Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated capacity to comprehend complex issues, think strategically, and adapt to changing circumstances.
Due to the nature of this role, there may be a requirement to work outside of standard office hours, the ability to be flexible in this regard would be of advantage.
