Key Business Opportunities in the MICE Sector

We are seeking a proactive professional to drive growth within the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events sector. This pivotal role will expand our client base, nurture key accounts, and position us as a trusted leader in corporate and leisure events.

Responsibilities:

* Sales & Revenue Growth: Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities in the MICE sector with a focus on local markets. Develop and implement sales strategies to meet revenue targets. Prepare proposals, presentations, and bids using effective communication skills. Lead negotiations, manage contracts, and close deals with corporate clients and agencies.
* Client Relationship Management: Build long-term relationships with corporate clients, DMCs, travel agents, and local partners. Serve as primary client contact, ensuring excellent service delivery from enquiry through event execution. Conduct post-event follow-ups, collect feedback, and foster repeat business opportunities.
* Market Development & Strategy: Monitor industry trends, competitors, and emerging opportunities to inform strategy. Maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients through networking, trade shows, and digital channels. Partner with marketing to design targeted campaigns and promotional collateral. Contribute to annual sales and marketing strategies to strengthen market share in MICE.
* Collaboration & Reporting: Work closely with operations, event planning, and catering teams for flawless client requirement execution. Deliver accurate forecasts, pipeline updates, and sales reports to management. Represent us at industry events, promoting our brand effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications: Proven track record in business development or sales within hospitality, tourism, or MICE. Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, confidence in networking. High level of initiative, motivation, and resilience. Strategic thinker with commercial awareness. Ability to collaborate cross-functionally while managing multiple projects.
