About the role Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drugs (ATODS) are a multidisciplinary team that provide a comprehensive range of public health and clinical interventions aimed at reducing the risks and harms associated with substance use. The Nurse Practitioner Candidate (NPC) provides advanced nursing care within the alcohol and other drug area in the Mount Isa community and across the North West Hospital and Health Service. Requirements Mandatory requirements are a relevant tertiary degree qualification and appropriate registration/licences.It is a mandatory requirement to be enrolled in and actively completing a Masters of Nursing in Nurse Practitioner post-graduate course.
