Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in software development, preferably with experience in healthcare or aged care software solutions. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, JavaScript, CSS mainly. Proficiency in Docker for containerization and deployment. Hands-on experience with API design, development, and integration. Knowledge of intelligence models and AI algorithms to enhance software functionalities. Familiarity with intelligence models, AI algorithms, and database management systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, MongoDB). Understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum). Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to comply with and awareness of work health and safety (WHS). Sound understanding of compliance in Aged Care and NDIS (including the quality standards, WHS, infection prevention and control, and SIRS) setting. A valid NBI clearance, dated no later than 3 months from application. What You'll Do This role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications tailored to the needs of aged care, allied health services, home maintenance and more. Key Responsibilities Design and Development: Develop software applications that address the specific needs of aged care and allied health services or any relevant areas, ensuring they are user-friendly and meet industry standards. Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, test, and delivery. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including healthcare professionals, team managers, and other developers, to ensure software solutions meet business needs and project timelines. Maintenance: Monitor, maintain, and improve existing software applications to ensure optimal performance and user satisfaction. Quality Assurance: Write and execute unit tests, integration tests, and other quality assurance processes to ensure the reliability and robustness of the software. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for code, applications, and user manuals, particularly focusing on healthcare compliance and usability. Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continually improve our development processes and software products. Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve software-related issues in a timely and efficient manner. Security: Implement and adhere to best practices in software security to protect sensitive client and company data, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
