About the Role
We're looking for a motivated Medical Coordinator (Administrator) to join our Canberra Clinic, where you'll be part of a collaborative team helping Australian Defence Force (ADF) candidates through their medical and psychological assessments. You will play a key role in streamlining the Defence Force Recruiting (DFR) process, ensuring that candidates' medical records are well-managed and that the logistics of their appointments and care are seamless.
This Full-Time position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, reporting to the DFR Team Lead Medical Coordinator. Monday to Friday 8.00 – 16.00 – No Shift Work! Join us in Canberra (Ngambri and Ngunnawal Country) and make a real difference to the candidates moving through this vital process.
What You'll Be Doing
* Engaging with candidates and assisting with appointment bookings
* Coordinating with clinicians, medical professionals, and other staff
* Managing candidate records and ensuring accuracy in data entry
* Providing logistical support for appointments and services
* Offering general administrative support to the medical team
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and great organisation skills. You'll bring excellent attention to detail and a drive to ensure the highest level of service to both staff and clients. Previous experience in a healthcare or medical environment will be highly regarded (not essential!)
To apply for this position, you must be a Australian citizen and hold or have the ability to maintain an AGSVA Baseline Security Clearance (Sonic HealthPlus will support you through the baseline clearance process). Additionally, you will need to obtain a Working With Children Check and a National Police Clearance
