Veolia ANZ is seeking experienced Electrical or Mechanical Technicians to join our Rockhampton team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in ensuring the effective operation and maintenance of critical water infrastructure including a state‐of‐the‐art Water Filtration Plant, River Intake Pump Station, 120 km Pipeline, and 2 × 2 ML Reservoirs.

What you'll be responsible for
* Operate and maintain pump stations, treatment plants, and reticulation systems to meet contractual requirements.
* Conduct water sample collection and laboratory analysis.
* Monitor, optimise and report on plant and system performance.
* Perform routine and breakdown maintenance on all plant equipment and systems.
* Respond to and rectify SCADA alarms and troubleshoot equipment issues.
* Maintain accurate records in the CMMS system.
* Plan and execute scheduled maintenance tasks.
* Participate in on‐call roster with after‐hours response as required.
* Ensure compliance with WH&S, Environmental, and Quality Systems.
What You'll Need to be Successful
* Trade or tertiary qualifications in chemistry or a process discipline.
* Experience in process industry operations, ideally water/wastewater treatment.
* Knowledge of water treatment practices and chemistry.
