Tilford Auto Group is expanding its operations with the development of a Major Repair Centre and relocated Parts Warehouse at Cambridge, and we are now seeking an additional Parts Warehouse Storeman to join our Parts & Accessories team.
This is a full-time role offering stability, variety, and long-term opportunity within a growing multi-franchise automotive group.
About the role
Reporting to the Parts Manager, this position plays a key role in the receipt, storage, dispatch, and delivery of parts across our operations and wholesale customers throughout Tasmania.
The role will be initially based at our city operation, with duties transitioning across both the city and the new Cambridge Major Repair Centre as the facility becomes operational.
Key responsibilities:
* Receiving, unpacking, inspecting, and correctly storing incoming stock from multiple manufacturers
* Preparing and dispatching parts orders for internal departments and wholesale customers
* Managing stock movement, picking, packing, and delivery documentation
* Conducting stock checks and assisting with inventory control
* Parts deliveries and pick-ups using company vans (as required)
* Maintaining accurate delivery logs, paperwork, and records
* Supporting the Parts team and broader dealership operations as required
* Maintaining safe, organised, and compliant warehouse practices
About you:
* Proven warehouse, logistics, or stores experience (automotive experience not required)
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes
* Good time management and organisational skills
* Confident communicator with a customer-focused mindset
* Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
* Willingness to work across multiple locations as required
Licences & requirements:
* Current driver's licence (essential)
* Forklift licence (preferred but not essential)
* Commitment to workplace health and safety standards
