As a Preparatory Music Teacher, you'll nurture musical expression, creativity and confidence in students from ELC to Year 6. Working across our Northbridge and North Sydney campuses, you'll design meaningful learning experiences that integrate singing, movement and instrumental work, while contributing to a warm, collaborative and future-focused Music Department.
You will play an important role in our PYP journey, using Music as a vehicle for inquiry, connection and cultural understanding. This position is ideal for an educator who brings energy, imagination and a deep passion for engaging young children in Music.
To be successful, you will:
* Hold tertiary qualifications in Music Education with current NESA accreditation
* Bring experience teaching primary-aged children in classroom and ensemble settings
* Demonstrate strong knowledge of Kodály and/or Orff pedagogy
* Create inclusive, sequential and engaging programmes aligned to NESA and PYP principles
* Communicate with clarity, professionalism and warmth, building positive relationships with students and families
* Hold a current Working with Children Check and First Aid/Anaphylaxis/Asthma training
