About Us:
Victory Minerals Pty Ltd is a successful gold explorer and producer in Victoria's gold belt. The company has entered an exciting new era, under new ownership and exploring new opportunities. The primary focus is our high-grade underground gold mine in Ballarat, which started producing gold in December 2005, and produces 30,000 to 40,000 ounces of gold per year.
The mine is located within the beautiful regional town of Ballarat, located just 100km west of Melbourne, which is experiencing unprecedented growth and development.
Role:
Victory Minerals is looking for an experienced Project Exploration Geologist to run near mine and regional surface exploration programs. Reporting to the Geology Superintendent, the incumbent will be responsible for:
* Generating drill targets.
* Planning and executing drill programs.
* Detailed drill core logging.
* Tenement Management.
* Internal and external reporting.
* Exploring opportunities to increase the company's tenement portfolio in Victoria and beyond.

About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Completed a bachelor's degree majoring in geology.
* 7 years plus experience as an Exploration Geologist.
* Experience with tenement management and statutory reporting.
* Solid understanding of QAQC protocols, drilling and sampling techniques used in gold exploration.
* Familiarity in 3D modelling and GIS software.
* Have a good understanding of Victorian geology and orogenic gold systems.
* Hold a current manual driver's licence.
* Good communication skills
