Armadale: Residential Support Worker (Part Time & Casual)
As a Residential Support Worker, you will work with other staff to carry out the day to day, routine and upkeep of the Bail house. You will work with young people to build rapport based on trust and respect, and help work to develop goals and strategies to manage their wellbeing. You will respond to mental health concerns and behaviour in a non-judgmental and compassionate manner.
This service is a 24hour facility so the successful candidate will be required to work during the evening as well as during the days.
Responsibilities

Qualifications and Experience
* Experience in working with vulnerable young people and knowledge of the issues impacting young people in the Youth Justice system.
* Ability to navigate difficult behavioural situations; commitment to HOPE's vision, mission and values; and ability to work respectfully and in a culturally secure way with Aboriginal communities and individuals.
* Desirable: working towards a Certificate IV in Youth, Mental Health, and/or Community Services with some experience.
